In addition, we are currently working with the Scottish Parliament to explore options for an in-person meeting later in the year. We recognise the importance of our Parliamentary Receptions for networking and building new relationships and we will work hard to ensure that this important part of the event takes place online. We know that this will be disappointing news. The Scottish Parliament Rare Disease Day Reception will now take place online on Wednesday 15 March 2023 between 6pm and 8pm.ĭue to the PCS Union strike, the Scottish Parliament will be closed to the public on Wednesday 15 March and the planned Rare Disease Day reception will no longer be able to go ahead in-person.
